Is Edie Sedgwick music bad?

It's just her and recorded beats, right?

Or her and a backing band?

Ultimately, Edie Sedgwick is not interested in music.

Edie's music is minimal and repetitive so that it does not detract from the onus of her ideology. Ideally, she would not play music at all - she would simply stand on stage and shout speeches or facilitate dialogues about You've Got Mail or Police Academy IV: Citizens on Patrol. Because she understands that many would find this boring, she compromises to further the ends of her cause and plays little tunes and sells little records.

Is this music humorous? Is Edie kidding?

No. Edie is as serious as "Law and Order" or a Dogma film. Some, of course, find humor in a song about Jennifer Love Hewitt or The Bodyguard. Then again, some twisted souls find humor in Challenger jibes and AIDS jokes. If Edie's songs or beliefs are humorous, are, to some idiots, humorous, she can't help it. However, for those who cannot see beyond the alleged humor, she has boundless pity.
